I can not put into words how amazing it felt to be back at a live show photographing from the photo pit again after so long.
I worked with the team at Manchester International Festival back in 2019 and it felt so good to be back on board this year to shoot some of their live events during the festival run.
The festival usually takes place during the month of July hosting so many amazing diverse events across the heart of the city.
One of the first events they hosted as part of the festival was Manchester Central was Arlo Parks.
The shows took place with a socially distanced crowd and the whole team did such a fantastic job in making this happen at a time when we just didn’t know what was going to happen during this uncertain time.
It felt amazing to have some normalcy back and to be out photographing and experiencing a live show after almost 18 months.
