What an awesome night this was.
When you’re working in the photo pit it’s super rare you get to to stay past 3 songs at such a big concert but 30 Seconds to Mars team went all out for this show ?
The last time I got to stay past 3 songs was back at Linkin Park – We got to shoot from front of house / sound desk after the 3 and then later was able to go back into the pit.
On this night however, the only way I can describe it was a GIANT PARTY.
Jared’s fan engagement was amazing through out, picking out fans from the crowd to go join him and Shannon on stage.
It got even better through the night if that was possible.
After the 3 songs, management came and told us we can stay for the rest of the show. Say whaaaat.
This is perfectly normal when you’re working with the management or band directly but definately not something that happens very often.
A few songs in and there was HUGE balloons thrown in to the mix. That was challenging in the photo pit but so fun ?
GUYS. Wait for it. There was a proposal ? It’s my first ever concert proposal I’ve been able to shoot, ALL THE FEELS in the photo pit ?
As if the night couldn’t get any better, we were invited by Jared to go on stage to grab some photos of him and Shannon with said fan who later proposed to his gf.
Incase you’re wanting to know, she said YES!
It was an amazing night and massive thanks to Jared and his team for making the night one to remember for us photographers aswell as the thousands of fans who were there on the night ?
Here are some highlights from the night
