Concert Photography: How to get photo passes for concerts

I think when we all first start out with concert photography –  the initial thought is, well, how do I get photo passes for concerts?

A few years back, I had no portfolio and no contacts, in fact, I knew nothing about the industry until a colleague of mine back then told me how to get  photo passes for concerts.

Since then, I’ve learnt heaps on my journey, and I’m still learning but I still get asked the question ‘How do I get a photo pass?’
