When I decided to surprise the other half with a trip for his birthday for a family vacation, I knew I wanted a destination that had a little bit of everything: beautiful scenery, fun activities for all ages, rich culture, and of course, delicious food. After a lot of searching, I landed on the Algarve region in southern Portugal—and it exceeded all expectations.It was due to be our first trip as a family of 4!

Our family trip to Algarve was unforgettable. The region’s stunning natural beauty, rich history, and welcoming locals made it a perfect destination for us. We returned home with sun-kissed skin, a ton of memories, and the constant craving for more Portuguese pastries.
