We headed on out to Elafonissi on one of the days. Again, it’s like an hour and a half away from Chania. This beach was absolutely stunning. Basically, all the beaches were to die for and yes, we visited alot of beaches ?
Elafonissi is a tiny island with super white sand, separated from the shore by a lagoon ?
The island is less than 200 metres from the beach and you can really easily walk there through the shallow water of the lagoon.
The sand of Elafonissi is super white, but it has a pinkish tone where the water meets the sand due to the thousands of broken seashells it contains.
