For those of you who don’t know – I’ve set up a project to do with all things travel over here so go check it out and don’t forget to subscribe!

One of the things I noticed about Melbourne was how diverse it is. Hands down this was my favourite place and unfortunately other than the week I was there, I didn’t get a chance to return. Devestated. I’ll definitely be going back though!
Its culture rich & has something to offer everyone.
I absolutely adore how arty it is and how different it is to other cities I have visited in the past. Actually, it reminded me a whole lot of my home city Manchester. Minus the rain when I was there. Although their climate is pretty similar to UK with rain I believe, just way warmer summers.
It seems the streets are blessed with pieces of art in the form of graffiti – bright coloured walls with original creativity created by talented artists.

Shopping is fantastic too from general high street stores to unique boutiques scattered across the streets of the city.
The food is amazing – seafood tastes so fresh, I was still eating seafood at the time, and keeps you wanting more & delicious fresh baking!OMG.
Walker’s Doughnut’s was lush – Coconut and chocolate doughnut was bliss ? Seriously guys… SO YUM.

Queen Victoria Market is a must – It’s full of amazing quirky things!
The Royal Botanic Gardens was also so nice to visit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can get a street car across the city so I would definitely recommend that!
I loved just strolling around Melbourne and just soaking it all up, especially Fitztroy, you can just wander around and visit the quirky cafe’s to the shops to the buskers on the streets to the museums. You lose your day without even realising!
One of the things I got around to doing is heading out to St Philips Island. It was stunning and we got to see the penguins coming in in the evening. I would probably recommend just hiring a car and doing it though to maybe avoid tourists but it was still pretty nice at the same time. The Koala Sanctuary was pretty awesome to…I mean… I GOT TO FINALLY PET A KOALA. ?

Have you visited Melbourne yet? Do you have any recommendations for when we next visit? Comment below I’d love to hear more.
