One of the things I’ve really not been doing enough is carving out time for personal work. Funny, because it’s how it started for me a while ago. It’s so imperative to do this as it helps your vision and really gets your creative juices flowing which in turn will attract the right type of people, projects & commissions you really want to be working on.
Infact, forget attracting anyone, just shoot for the love of it and for the creativity and just..well..to create. Remember why you started?
I’d really been wanting to shoot a milk water concept shoot for a while, even more so since visiting Blue Lagoon in Iceland ? and took it upon myself to MAKE time for it. You can check out photos from the Iceland trip here and don’t forget to check out the travel blog here.
So last week I got together a make up artist, hired a model and brought some props and this is what we created.
It was awesome to do this shoot as it’s been a while since I’ve done this & it was really fun to get together a team again and smash through a concept.
Here’s some photos from the session we did ?
